About

Thank you for visiting my blog, Infosysteria.com, where I blog about technology, education and ideas.

I’m a technology enthusiast and graduate student with 15 years of professional work experience, primarily in the fields of systems administration. I entered IT by obtaining work experience, volunteering and IT-certifications, and after working in a few different countries I decided to seek higher education, the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Research shows that the best way to learn is by sharing your knowledge with others, therefore in 2015 as a undergraduate student I started this blog mainly to keep track of my studies and to break theory into fun learning.

I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems were “infosys” being the abbreviation, so there you have the first part of the blog’s name. I often find undergrads fear the discipline of computer science, particularly the programming part, therefore the second part, “systeria”, comes from “hysteria” which means an uncontrollable outburst of emotion or fear.

I’m currently doing my master’s majoring in Cyber Security, and my aim is to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
